Providing comprehensive solutions for various industries.

Coal-Washing Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Project at Guangzhou Nansha Thermal Power Plant

In the face of common industry challenges—high chemical consumption, frequent effluent quality fluctuations, and high maintenance costs associated with conventional coal slurry water treatment processes—the Nansha China Resources Thermal Power Plant has proactively responded to the call for green and energy-efficient operations by pursuing technological upgrades. The project ultimately adopted an innovative “three-no direct filtration” system, designed to establish a more economical, stable, and environmentally friendly closed-loop system for coal slurry water reuse.

Pretreatment Project for Fermentation Wastewater from the Kweichow Moutai Distillery

Moutai distillery wastewater is characterized by high organic matter concentrations, substantial suspended solids, and significant seasonal fluctuations in water quality. The conventional pretreatment process—rotary screening combined with dissolved air flotation—suffers from incomplete solid removal, a heavy load on subsequent biological treatment, and high sludge disposal costs, highlighting the urgent need for an efficient and stable pretreatment technology to enhance overall treatment performance.

A PCB Manufacturer in Huizhou Uses Biochemical Wastewater Instead of a Secondary Sedimentation Tank

Wastewater from printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing is highly complex in composition, containing heavy metals, complexing agents, and recalcitrant organic compounds; efficient sludge–water separation at the end of biochemical treatment has long been a persistent challenge in the industry. Conventional processes typically rely on secondary sedimentation tanks or MBR membrane separation.

Wenzhou China Resources Thermal Power Plant Coal-Washing Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Project

Following the successful and stable three-year operation of the No-Blow, No-Backwash, No-Filter direct filtration system at the Guangzhou Nansha Thermal Power Plant, Mafit Water once again delivered a landmark project in 2025: the 1,000-ton-per-day coal slurry water zero-discharge reuse project at the Wenzhou China Resources Power Thermal Power Plant.

Pilot-Scale Direct Filtration of Bullfrog Farming Wastewater

Frog farming is characterized by high stocking density, intensive feeding, and substantial excretion. The resulting aquaculture wastewater primarily consists of uneaten feed, feces, suspended solids, and nitrogen- and phosphorus-containing organic matter, exhibiting high chemical oxygen demand (COD), high suspended solids concentration, and significant water-quality fluctuations. Conventional pretreatment processes—such as sedimentation, dissolved-air flotation, and biological treatment—suffer from drawbacks including large land footprint, high chemical consumption, and complex operation and maintenance, making it difficult for them to keep pace with the increasingly stringent effluent discharge standards for aquaculture.

How should we understand the “no-discrimination-inlet-water” principle of the 3-Free direct filtration technology?

“Non-discriminatory influent acceptance” is one of the most revolutionary features of the 3-Free Direct Filtration technology, meaning that the system exhibits exceptionally strong adaptability to influent water quality: regardless of influent concentration, particle size, or fluctuations in water quality, it can operate stably without requiring sophisticated pretreatment at the front end.

How is the no-replacement-of-consumables feature achieved in 3-Free direct filtration technology?

The fundamental reason why conventional filtration technologies—such as sand filtration, bag filtration, and MBR membranes—require regular replacement of consumables is that pollutants irreversibly accumulate on or within the filter media, ultimately leading to clogging or damage that cannot be reversed through cleaning.

How should we understand the “no-power water production” aspect of the 3-Free direct filtration technology?

“Power-free water production” is the most intuitive energy-saving feature of the 3-Free Direct Filtration technology. At its core, this means that the filtration process does not rely on any external power-driven equipment—such as booster pumps or vacuum pumps—and instead depends solely on the system’s inherent liquid-level difference as the driving force to enable natural water flow and filtration.
